Volunteer - Sol - Brazil

I did my volunteering at Guardian Farm with the host Sarah, and I will carry this very special friendship with me for life. Here I learned about the local culture, agriculture, cooking, and, most importantly, how to share moments with incredible people.

The collaborators Nely and Pascoal also deeply marked my experience — two dear friends that I will forever keep in my heart. This place is truly special, full of nature, peace, and presence.

Sarah makes us feel completely at ease, always doing everything she can to see us happy. She is so kind, generous, and welcoming. I’m leaving with a broken heart! Working on the farm is enjoyable because while we help, we also learn important things for life.

The food is amazing — fruits, vegetables, wonderful cheeses — and it’s not only physical nourishment, but also spiritual nourishment, which is always present and so important on the farm.

I want to thank Sarah immensely, my dear friend.
