My time at Guardian Farm was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the heart of Peru's sacred valley, the farm felt like a hidden oasis where nature, creativity, and community converge. I was surrounded by inspiring souls - gardeners, artists, engineers, and wanderers from all walks of life, each bringing their own light and energy to this special place.
Sarah, the heart of the farm, is one of the kindest and most open-hearted people I’ve ever met. Her warmth sets the tone for the entire experience. Each day began with delicious, nourishing meals, vibrant juices, fresh smoothies, and an abundance of avocados and bananas I could hardly believe.
The natural world here is alive in a way I’d never experienced before. Butterflies drifted through the gardens, caterpillars inched along leaves, and the variety of insects painted a vivid portrait of biodiversity. And I'll miss Obi, the Peruvian dog, dearly. We danced between torrential rains and golden sunshine, learning hands-on about permaculture amid one of the most breathtaking landscapes on earth.
This place left a deep mark on me, one of wonder, peace, and purpose. I carry the lessons and memories with me, and I truly hope to return one day
