Planting trees.

Rainy season is back in a big way and we are off planting trees.

Today an area that burned in 2017 in San Pablo, Peru. We will plant 4 species here and coffee. Today, the first trees, the mulberry go in.

Mulberry/Mora trees offers benefits beyond its beauty. Its leaves provide a fresh, natural food source for cuy and rabbits, while also being perfect for making tea—known for its potential medicinal benefits, including supporting healthy blood sugar levels and promoting relaxation. The tree produces sweet, nutrient-rich fruit full of antioxidants and vitamins, and once mature, its dead wood can be used to grow shiitake mushrooms. It grows quickly and minimal care is required.
